Supporting women and men is a passion from my personal experience and years of working alongside others who have experienced a similar situation. It's my desire to help people move toward purpose-driven decisions that transform their life and many future generations.

Coaching provided myself and adoptive mom with tools and resources to work through before the baby was born to have the best chance of success of a relationship afterwards. If you are one hundred percent sure about your decision and have the option of coaching I highly recommend. Has God ever placed someone in your life who brought to the table absolutely EVERYTHING you didn't even know was essential to your life? That's what Denise did for me! I had the honor of meeting her through my mentor and friend, Keeley. I was going through the process of an open adoption. This was a whole new ball game for me as well as the adoptive mother. Our God is just SO good. He have us Denise as a life coach. She asked us all the right questions and gave us thoughts to ponder. I always left our zoom meetings with my cup being poured into. She created bridges where we didn't even know gaps existed. She helped our decision-making process run so much more smoothly. It is truly an honor and blessing to be able to know her and do life with her.

Our relationship began in the Fall of 2006. I was introduced to Denise and Tony through my best friend from high school’s family. When I discovered I was pregnant, I began to share with my close friends the news. They suggested going through an adoption process since I knew I was not ready to be a parent at that time in my life. I had a very peaceful feeling come over me after meeting with Denise and Tony over lunch one day. We became closer through the pregnancy by spending time together going to lunches and hanging out getting to know each other. It was a great match for all of us. Over the years, our relationship has remained true, open and honest. We are able to visit when time allows and it has worked beautifully, just as we had discussed in the beginning. We all felt that having an open adoption was the best decision for Levi’s life. For him to know where he comes from and to always have the open line of communication available was very important in the decision making.
I believe the most important thing in making a decision during an unplanned pregnancy would be that you should take the time to educate yourself on options and get assistance to help you sort through your feelings. It can be very overwhelming and connecting with someone who will listen, offer privacy and be compassionate will help tremendously while making a very important decision with your life.
